STILL LIFE 2025
In this series of works, I explore the relationship between photography and painting. Using found imagery mounted on canvas as a base, I build layers through painting that disrupt, obscure, or distort the original image, creating a visual illusion. I draw inspiration from traditional painting subjects—such as drapery, still life, and portraiture—not as ends in themselves, but as points of departure for examining how meaning and perception shift when media and methods intersect.
